Favorite time waster
I love going to fabric stores and soaking in all the colors and patterns. Doing this is impossible with two little children in tow. Even if I give them both handfuls of dried pears so they are quiet and content for a few moments, I can not fully enjoy the experience as I yearn to.
So I window shop via internet. It is a total waste of time in the sense that I have ten thousand better activities to do with my evening - like lesson plan for school tomorrow! And, it is a far cry from having the fabric there to admire, touch, hold up to another fabric, etc.. Nevertheless, I enjoy looking at swatches on the computer screen.
Oh the treasures I'd sew.
